What is Yoga? |

Yoga is aimed to create unity between the mind, the body, and the spirit. People that practice Yoga believe that the mind and the body are one, and given the right environment and skills, you will find harmony and be able to heal yourself naturally. Yoga helps you become more aware of your body's posture, alignment and patterns of movement and is therefore considered therapeutic. You will increase your flexibility and help you relax in the most stressful environment. Yoga is a science of wellbeing which has been practiced for many thousands of years. It consists of ancient theories, observations of everything around us and basic principles about the mind and body connection. This is now being proven by modern medicine as substantial research into the health benefits of Yoga in currently being conducted even in the west.
